At Stokes and Renk, we provide structured diagnostic assessment and repair for complex breakdowns using dealer level BMW systems, including ISTA and BMW AOS, combined with extensive hands-on technical expertise.
We do not provide towing services ourselves but we can advise on a towing service or organise a towing contractor for you, just ask!
Our Intake Process
To ensure accurate diagnosis and clear communication, all breakdown vehicles must follow our structured intake procedure.
1. Contact Us First
Please call us on 9381 1155 before arranging transport. We will discuss the symptoms and determine the suitability of your vehicle for assessment.
If your breakdown is outside business hours, please either use the contact form on our website or text us on 0482 077 310 and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
2. Confirmed Booking
All breakdown vehicles must have a pre-arranged booking before arrival at our workshop.
3. Owner Presentation (Required)
All vehicles must be presented in person by the owner (unless otherwise arranged).
This face-to-face consultation allows us to:
- Formally meet to discuss the sequence of events leading to the breakdown
- Accurately document symptoms
- Review vehicle history
- Clearly explain our diagnostic process
We do not accept unattended tow-ins or unarranged drop-offs without prior arrangement.
4. Diagnostic Assessment
We carry out a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation using dealer-level BMW equipment before any repair recommendations are made.
No repairs proceed without prior authorisation.
